Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions families ask us most often — about caregivers, scheduling, pricing, and the communities we serve.
Getting Started
How in-home care works and what to expect from your first conversation.
Non-medical caregivers assist with:
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Transportation
- Mobility support
- Household tasks
We start with a free, no-pressure consultation to understand your loved one's needs, routines, and preferences. From there we build a personalized care plan and match a caregiver who fits both the care requirements and the personality of your family.
Caregiver Questions
How we hire, screen, and match the caregivers who come into your home.
Caregivers are carefully screened, interviewed, background checked, and matched based on experience, personality, and care needs.
We understand that compatibility matters. If a different caregiver would be a better match, we work quickly to make adjustments.
Every caregiver on our team is a W-2 employee — not an independent contractor. That means we handle taxes, insurance, training, and supervision, and families don't carry employer responsibilities.
We maintain a dedicated scheduling team and a roster of trained backup caregivers. If a caregiver is unable to make a shift, we work quickly to fill it with someone already familiar with your loved one's care plan whenever possible.
Scheduling & Availability
Starting care, adjusting hours, and the flexibility we offer families.

Pricing & Payment
